What is Placebo and Nocebo?

“Yesterday I took time off from work. I lied that I was sick. Three of my colleagues didn’t come to work today - they said they got infected from me.”
Everyone knows what a Placebo is, right. I repeat. Placebos are dummy medications that affect the user exclusively subconsciously, through self-hypnosis. And this is already “Placebo effect” - improvement of well-being due to belief in the effectiveness of the drug and/or procedure. In simple words - you believe that THIS works. And more often it works, since the body heals itself (that’s right) in this faith in...
Now about NOCEBO. Unfamiliar term? This is a placebo antagonist - this is when thoughts give rise to illness - if we wait for illness, we can get sick without objective reasons. My friends, just notice that a strong imagination creates an event. “We” are looking for excuses, negatively, feeling sorry for ourselves for imaginary illnesses and thereby getting real health problems. I encounter this in my work. This is not at all rare.
Nocebo will happen, overtake the one who begins to mope and complain. Believe in the best. More positive reaction, positive emotions, smile, laughter - this is a real placebo for almost any ailment.
