Please choose the session length required for your treatment.
If you are unsure which type of massage or duration to select, you are very welcome to contact us for advice. Alternatively, you may simply book a 60-minute session, and during your first appointment we will assess your needs together and decide on the most appropriate treatment plan for future sessions.
You may require a Full Body Massage Therapy (Deep Tissue, Sports or Remedial), Lymphatic Drainage Massage, or you may have a specific concern such as back pain, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, knee discomfort or foot pain requiring a more Targeted Remedial / Medical Massage.
Full Body Massage Therapy
Deep Tissue – Sports – Remedial
This is a fully personalised full body massage designed around your individual needs. There is no need to choose a specific style in advance — together, on the day of your appointment, we will decide what your body requires most.
Deep Tissue Massage works into tight muscles and stubborn knots, helping to release tension and restore mobility.
Sports Massage is ideal for active individuals and athletes — improving flexibility, supporting faster recovery and helping to prevent injuries.
Remedial / Medical Massage focuses on specific pain patterns, injuries or chronic conditions, supporting natural healing and improving movement.
Each session can be more relaxing or more intensive. Pressure, techniques and treatment areas are carefully adapted to ensure you receive exactly what is most beneficial for you at that time.
Whether you are seeking pain relief, recovery after work or training, or simply time to reset and restore, you will leave feeling lighter, freer and more balanced.
Remedial / Medical Massage
Targeted Pain Relief
Back, Gluteal Muscles, Shoulder, Elbow, Knee, Foot & More
This focused therapeutic treatment addresses specific areas of pain, restriction or chronic tension, including frozen shoulder, tennis or golfer’s elbow, knee pain, wrist or foot issues, tendon conditions and persistent back or gluteal discomfort.
We work on the root cause of pain using advanced manual therapy techniques and, where appropriate, additional methods such as trigger point therapy, dry needling, kinesiology taping or assisted stretching. All treatment plans are discussed with you in advance.
Back treatment always includes the gluteal muscles due to their direct connection with spinal function. In many cases, treating only the back may limit overall effectiveness, as lower limb structures often contribute to pain patterns. For this reason, the minimum session duration is 60 minutes.
This session helps reduce pain, improve mobility and support natural healing — enabling you to move more freely and return to your normal activities with confidence.
Shockwave Therapy (BTL-600 Technology)
We use one of the leading systems available on the UK market — the BTL-600 Shockwave Therapy device — combined with targeted manual therapy.
Shockwave Therapy uses focused acoustic waves to treat chronic pain, tendon injuries, calcifications and restricted mobility. It stimulates blood circulation, accelerates tissue repair and helps break down scar tissue.
The 5–15 minute shockwave application is included within your booked session time and adjusted depending on the area treated.
Common conditions treated include:
Tennis / golfer’s elbow, Plantar fasciitis, Frozen shoulder, Heel spurs, Chronic tendinitis, Other musculoskeletal conditions.
There is no need to select the treatment style in advance — we assess and decide together what will provide the most effective outcome for your body.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle manual technique designed to stimulate lymph flow. It supports the removal of excess fluid, enhances metabolic processes and promotes overall wellbeing.
Benefits may include:
Reduction of swelling and water retention
Improvement in skin tone and appearance
Support for post-operative recovery
Assistance in reducing scar tissue
Support of immune function
It is important to note that lymphatic drainage techniques are incorporated, where appropriate, into almost all treatments at SPINEWELL.
Regardless of session length, these techniques may be applied to the areas being treated in order to optimise therapeutic results.
